Privacy Policy
Fanzone26 ("Fanzone26," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Los Angeles World Cup 26 Fan Zone at Venice Beach (the "Event") and the website at venicebeachfwc26.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the Site or attending the Event, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"):
- Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, postal address, IP address, device identifiers, online identifiers, and account credentials when you create an account through our ticketing provider.
- Customer records — payment information processed by our third-party ticketing provider (we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves), billing address, and purchase confirmation details.
- Commercial information — records of tickets purchased, RSVPs, VIP package inquiries, table reservations, and your interactions with the Site.
- Internet or other electronic network activity — browsing behavior on the Site, search history within the Site, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, and information from cookies and similar technologies.
- Geolocation data — general location inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates from your device.
- Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information — photographs, video, and audio recordings captured at the Event in which you may appear (see also Section 6 of our Terms & Conditions: Photo, Video & Media Release).
- Professional or employment-related information — if you submit a corporate VIP inquiry, your company name and role.
- Inferences — inferences drawn from any of the above to characterize your preferences and predicted behavior.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CPRA, except age verification information collected at entry for alcohol service (21+) and the Friday after-party (18+).
2. Sources of information
We collect information:
- Directly from you when you complete an RSVP, purchase a ticket, submit a VIP inquiry, contact us by email or phone, or sign up for updates.
- From our ticketing provider Eventbrite when you purchase a ticket through the Eventbrite platform linked from the Site. Eventbrite's collection and use of your information is governed by Eventbrite's own Privacy Policy.
- Automatically through cookies, web beacons, server logs, and similar technologies when you use the Site.
- From third-party service providers who help us operate the Site, deliver the Event, and analyze how the Site is used.
3. How we use information
We use personal information for the following business purposes:
- To process ticket purchases and RSVPs, deliver tickets, and confirm orders.
- To communicate with you about the Event, including schedule updates, gate information, after-party details, accessibility accommodations, and safety information.
- To respond to VIP inquiries, table reservation requests, and general questions.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To analyze Site usage, measure marketing performance, and develop new offerings.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms & Conditions, protect the rights, safety, and property of Fanzone26 and our attendees, and comply with applicable law.
- To send you marketing communications about the Event and related programming, where permitted by law and subject to your right to opt out.
- With appropriate consent, to retarget you with advertising for the Event on third-party platforms.
4. Disclosure of information
We may disclose your personal information to:
- Our service providers — Eventbrite (ticketing and payment processing), email and SMS service providers, analytics providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, customer support tools, and security providers. These parties are contractually limited to using your information to perform services for us.
- Event partners — the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee, the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), Council District 11, and approved partners, in connection with operating and promoting the Event.
- Broadcast partners — FOX and other approved broadcasters who may capture footage at the Event. Capture and use of your image, voice, and likeness is also addressed in Section 6 of our Terms & Conditions.

- Legal and safety — law enforcement, courts, regulators, and other parties when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — any successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to commercially reasonable confidentiality protections.
Sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of certain advertising and analytics cookies may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You have the right to opt out of such sharing at any time — see Section 7 below.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site and analyze how it is used. The cookies we use fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function (e.g., security, load balancing, your cookie consent choice). These cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember your preferences and improve your experience.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4.
- Marketing / advertising — used to deliver and measure advertising on third-party platforms. May include pixels from Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads.
You can manage non-essential cookies at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link in the Site footer, or using the button below.
You can also block cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect Site functionality. If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honour it automatically and treat it as a request to opt out of the sharing of your personal information.
Our Site uses an embedded Google Map and links to Eventbrite for ticketing. Both Google and Eventbrite set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.
6. How long we keep information
